Interviewing Kat Tansey

Kat Tansey is an innovative educator and award winning author who creates unique books
and programs that entertain, educate and enlighten. She is passionate about teaching people
that the Arts of Change, Meditation, and Sleep can be learned, and that incorporating the
mastering of them as a Practice can change your life.

A 2nd edition of Kat’s book Choosing to Be: Lessons in Living from a Feline Zen Master is being published by Findhorn Press later this year, and she has contracted with them to write a sequel, tentatively titled Finding the Path of Freedom: The Legacy of the Feline Zen Master.  Early this year she published her e-book on how to become a confident sleeper, and she is currently  developing a teleseminar series to support the book.

Lolly Daskal is a life coach, consultant,  teacher, speaker and a force for positive change in the lives those she meets.

Thomas is a counselor in Tampa Bay, Florida with thirty years of professional practice in applied psychology, clinical psychotherapy, and mental health counseling. His journey is colorful, beginning with the honors program at Syracuse University studying physiological and research psychology. He went on to graduate studies in Humanistic Psychology at West Georgia College, focusing on Human Growth & Potential. Interview: Kriss Akabusi Author of Success Comes In Cans

Kriss is famous for his achievements in athletics where his greatest individual triumph was his gold medal in the 1990 European Championships when he also beat David Hemery’s 22 year old British Record. He began his international athletic career in 1983 as a member of the 4×400 metre relay squad and will probably always be remembered for helping Britain clinch the Gold and beat the Americans in the World Championships 4×400 metre relay in Tokyo in 1991.

In 1992 as 3 times Olympic medallist, World, European and Commonwealth Champion Kriss was awarded the MBE by Her Majesty the Queen in her Birthday Honours List in recognition of his services to the country through athletics. His move into television and entertainment began when he presented THE BIG BREAKFAST. This was followed with a full time position as co-presenter with BBC’s RECORD BREAKERS. He has presented various children’s programmes and appears regularly on game and chat shows where the brief is “fun and entertainment”.

Kriss is currently the CEO of The Akabusi Company, a corporate communications and training company, where his marvellous personality and reputation as a fantastic public speaker has made him a very popular and attractive advocate. He is also an accredited personal coach, having qualified at the Hudson Institute of Santa Barbara. He is one of only four qualified Hudson Institute coaches in the UK.

He is the founder and Chairperson of The Akabusi Charitable Trust (TACT), a charity that promotes the social and economic development of communities in poverty in Nigeria. TACT, working with local partners and NGO’s, funds projects in the areas of health and education, water and sanitation, and social enterprise, supporting sustainable projects that can make a real difference.
